Manku Timmana Kagga - Part 1

Manku Timmana Kagga is a collection of poems written by Dr. D.V.Gundappa in the kannada language. It is considered a masterpiece and is very deep in its spiritual content.
To make this available to a larger audience, K.A.Padmanabha has translated this work into English maintaining the same terse summary that is presented in the poems.
  1. People believe in many forms of god like Sree Vishnu, creator of this universe, incarnation of Maaya, lord of this universe, Para Brahma  etc, etc.,I Manku Timma, bow to that strange spirit !
  2. This universe is made of Chetana i.e, living and Achetana i.e, non-living things. Both are covered by some unknown thing, which can be neither reachable by thought, nor can it be measured. I  Manku Timma bow to that spirit!
  3. Here Manku Timma has several questions to ask . Like  what is the meaning of life and what is the meaning of the visible universe? what is the relationship between the unset and the life?
Is there some invisible thing that is controlling our life? if so , what is that?
Is knowledge about oneself is prof enough? These questions haunt Manku Timma.
  4. Another series of questions by Manku Timma
Is the god like a dark cave? Or is it some name given to some thing which human mind cannot comprehend? If he is the protector of all living things, then why is the earth like this (full of miseries)? What about life and death?
  5. Is this creation a puzzle? What is the meaning of life?
Who will solve this puzzle? If there is only one hand that created this world, then why is there so many variations in our lives? These are some more questions that is troubling Manku Timma.
